This installation addresses water pollution and the destruction of once-hidden, idyllic environments, both intentional and accidental. Delia, an experienced diver with a focus on underwater photography, presents two projections in this piece.
One of the projection showcases an underwater area in Ċirkewwa that has been reclaimed as a safe haven for fauna and flora, just a couple of years ago - allowing no boats or fishing.  Delia was mesmerized during her dive, being surrounded by so many fish, natural beauty and all the life flourishing in this protected zone in a short time.
The other projection, much smaller in scale, is cast onto a screen made from plastic materials, fabricated by the artist. This screen symbolizes the growing intrusion of pollution into these serene spaces and emphasizes how areas where fish can live freely and safely are rapidly diminishing.
The plastic used in the screen has been recycled from discarded plastic bags, further underscoring the environmental message and the urgency of protecting these fragile underwater ecosystems.
